Our Story
OMalley Funerals was born out of love and respect for the family. Named after Toby Argall's great-grandmother, OMalley, who came from Northern Ireland, our funeral service honours her legacy by providing compassionate care for families during their most difficult moments.
With years of experience in the funeral industry and a background in managing teams and working in global roles, Toby and his team bring expertise and empathy to every family we serve. We don’t believe in a cookie-cutter approach. Every family is unique, and every loved one deserves a farewell that reflects their life, culture, and values.
Kindness, Respect, Empathy and Love.
These are the values that define our work.

Our Services
At OMalley Funerals, we offer a wide range of funeral and memorial services designed to meet the diverse needs of our community.
Our team is committed to respecting and honouring our community's cultural diversity. We provide everything from traditional services to bespoke memorials, ensuring your loved one’s farewell is as special and unique as they were. Whether religious or non-religious, we are here to help you honour your loved one’s wishes for
any cultural background.

Memorial Service
Honouring Life with Family and Friends
Many families opt for a simple NSNA (No Service, No Attendance) Cremation. Afterwards, you can choose to hold a Memorial or Wake, either on the same day or at a time that feels right for you. This gathering allows family and friends to come together, celebrate the life of their loved one, and create a meaningful tribute. It’s a special time to reflect, share memories, and honour the legacy of someone truly cherished.

Single Service
A Simple and Traditional Farewell
A Single Service typically involves either a Cremation Service at a Crematorium or a Church/Club Service, followed by the deceased being taken to a different location for cremation. We recognise this as a single service, not a double, ensuring simplicity and respect throughout.
Graveside services are also a popular, personalised option, particularly for smaller, more intimate gatherings. While common in the USA, graveside services are becoming an increasingly favoured choice in Australia for those seeking a meaningful, bespoke tribute in a serene outdoor setting.

Dual Service
Honouring Life Across Two Locations
A Dual Service involves holding a Funeral Service in two separate locations. This could include, for example, a service at a church followed by a burial at a cemetery, or a gathering at a club before proceeding to the cemetery for burial. It provides an opportunity for a more comprehensive farewell, allowing loved ones to honour and reflect on the deceased in multiple meaningful settings.

At O Malley’s, we are here for you 24/7, offering support before, during, and well after the service. Our focus is on building lasting relationships, not simply completing transactions. We don’t measure success by volume; we measure it by the satisfaction of the families we serve. If we deliver exceptional service, everything else falls into place.
We are proud to serve our community, and we genuinely love what we do—helping families during one of the most difficult times in their lives.
We are here when you need us, every step of the way.
At OMalley’s, we are committed to providing premium, personalised service tailored to meet the unique needs of every family. We believe that honouring your loved one’s life should be done with care, compassion, and respect, all at an affordable price. For us, this is more than just a profession—it’s our calling, and we are truly honoured to support families during their time of need.
We understand that family budgets are important, and we will work closely with you to design a service that fits your financial circumstances while still delivering the bespoke farewell your loved one deserves. We provide a full range of options so you can make informed decisions that suit your needs and ensure a meaningful tribute.

What Families Are Saying
Heartfelt experiences from those we’ve had the honour of serving
At O’Malley’s, we believe in providing a service that truly makes a difference during one of life’s most difficult times. Don’t just take our word for it—read the stories and experiences shared by families who have trusted us to care for their loved ones. We are grateful for their kind words and for the opportunity to be there when they needed us most.

Community Engagement
Coming Soon – The B.U.B. Initiative
At O Malley’s, we believe in giving back to the community, and one of the ways we do this is through the B.U.B. Initiative—a program we proudly started to help those in need. B.U.B. stands for Bibles, Undies, and Blankets, simple but essential items for Sydney’s homeless population. We work directly with community groups to provide these and other necessities to rough sleepers, supporting them in the tough situations they face.
As funeral directors, our role goes beyond just funerals. We see ourselves as facilitators, whether we’re guiding families through a service or giving back to our community. At
OMalley’s, we are dedicated to making a positive impact, both in our profession and in the lives of others.
